As much as I love doing freelance graphic design, the economy hates it. Therefore, after months of struggling to make ends meet, I have decided to rejoin the workforce. I begin my new job as a Graphic Designer and Print Specialist on Monday. It was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up, and will only further my skills as a production artist. I promise to finish up any projects I have at this time, but will be scaling back the amount of work I am accepting from here forward.
Don’t think that because I have a full time job I won’t be posting new content…there will always be new content, and I will continue to keep you up to date on all of my work.
Please do not hesitate to contact me and request a quote. I will try my best to get back to you, and if possible take on your job.
Thank You

So remember how last time I said you wouldn’t hear from me until I had something new to post on my Portfolio. Looks like I was just kidding. After receiving some user feedback, and spending some time on other graphic designers web sites, I found that Edgy Art was still missing a few things. Those few things are my newly added Hire Me, FAQS and Contact pages. The Hire Me page consists of why you should hire me and what Design Services I offer. On the FAQS page you will find some questions that are commonly asked in the Graphic Design business, and information concerning pricing and file formats. If you are interested in my services, just stop by my Contact page and send me an email so we can get started on your design project.
I look forward to more user feedback, and I will keep you posted regarding any new additions to Edgy Art.
PS – Don’t forget to check out my new Twitter page with an Edgy Art inspired background!

I have a mini update today for the site. As many of you know Twitter is all the rage these days. I mean who doesn’t want to know what everybody is doing every second of the day… Anyway, not to be left behind, or have somebody take the user name EdgyArt, I have created my own Twitter account. If you already have a Twitter account, you can follow me at EdgyArt. If not, you can find my tweets on the side bar of my Home page.
On a side note, I am currently working on a logo design for a tennis club. If all goes well my next update will have the new logo posted into my Portfolio page!

After another busy weekend, I have finally gotten my Portfolio Page up and running. In it I have included some of my logo designs, flag designs, shirt designs, print designs and even a web design I recently finished. I know there is not much there at the moment, but I feel it is a good representation of what I enjoy doing with design. As I expand my Portfolio, expect the images to be scaled down to allow for easier navigation. If some of the designs are hard to see, please feel free to click on them to view the design at full size. I have also created the web designs to open in a new window or tab, directing you to the given web page.
I hope you enjoy my Portfolio page, and the rest of Edgy Art. As always, there will be more to come!

Hi everybody! Sorry these updates are taking longer than expected, but my Internet went down the other day and I just finally got it back. You will be happy to know that I finished up my About page, and now all I need to do is wrangle up all my art and get it into my Portfolio page. Another reason my site has been delayed, is because I was working on my first web design job. A friend of mine is a freelance photographer, and he wanted me to fix him up a site where people could view his art, and contact him for hire. We both agreed that the site turned out great, and you can visit it at Paul E. Burd Photography. Be sure to check out his Archive page for a more detailed list of photographs.
Well that’s about it for today, but if all goes well the next time I post it will be with my finished Portfolio page!
