How much does logo design cost?

An obviously important question, but one that can’t be answered without details of your logo design project. Your company is different from every other, so it makes sense to tailor a quote to your individual needs.

My pricing varies depending upon a large number of factors. The size of the project, turn-around time, number of drafts, design complexity and other intangibles. It is impossible for me to provide a pricing chart, due to the fact that every clients needs and logo designs are different. What I can tell you is that all of my work is reasonably priced for its quality, and well below what you would pay at larger design studios.

What does the cost include?

The cost includes a significant amount of my time, which will span over days, weeks or months, depending on the complexity of the project. Upon completion you will receive your completed design, along with original artwork suitable for use across a wide range of media.

How long will the project take to complete?

At the beginning of each project I will inform you of delivery timeframes, such as when to expect the initial ideas, and how long possible revisions may take. As each project is different, I wait until learning about your needs before providing a deadline. Depending upon complexity, projects can last from a few days in length, to multiple weeks or months.

What file-types do you provide?

Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or Encapsulated PostScript (.eps) are the main filetypes provided. The logo will be in vector format, which means it can be scaled to any size necessary without loss of quality. From either of these files, and with the proper software, you will be able to create any other filetype necessary (.jpg, .png, .gif, etc.). I’m more than happy to help with specific file requests, and will answer questions if you’re in any way unsure.

Can we talk on the telephone?

Absolutely. All clients receive my mobile phone number, and I’m available between 9am and 5pm CST, from Monday to Friday (except during holidays).

How do you accept payment?

With most design projects, I request a 50% downpayment prior to scheduling the work. This is payable by a number of methods: via check, PayPal, or cash (local business only). All details are included in your initial invoice, and the remaining 50% is payable upon completion of the project, prior to supply of original artwork. If for whatever reason you decide to cancel your order during the design process, your initial downpayment is non-refundable.

Do you have a refund policy?

It is always the goal of Edgy Art to maintain 100% customer satisfaction. In the unlikely event you are not satisfied with our Graphic Design services, you may notify Edgy Art in writing (via email) as soon as you wish to end the project engagement. At that point we will immediately cease work, and retain the initial downpayment for the project. There are no refunds once we have completed a design project regardless of weather or not you are satisfied with the outcome. We will make every effort to make sure that our customers are well taken care of, and will do what we can to make sure that your experience with Edgy Art ends in mutual satisfaction.
